Custom

In our country, army is one of custom.

this is only our country has.

Race

I am an international student in America, lucky America do not have race discrimination.

Diversity

I felt the food cultural diversity is my biggest problem in America.

Culture shock

When i arrived, some person who i dont know told me. He said me he can help me. In Korea, it is impossible. this is my culture shock.

Mr.keating bring some new methods about education in his class, he encourages students to stand on the desk, with a new perspective to understand this world. He advocated the freedom of thinking philosophy in the spread of the students gradually, some people received him, and began to bravely face every day, grasp their own life.

Walter is an economics teachers, he’s wife was passed away, so he feels very lonely. He works hard and trying to search for the meaning of life. He came to his apartment in New York because he has meeting. Since his wife died after a long time, he didn't come here. But to his surprise, the room is full of life breath, there was a young couple live here. Some culture problem for them but they solve this problem and became good friend. One day, Tarek and Walter from central park returning, was arrested because skip subway revolving, despite the fact that he had bought a ticket. The police found Tarek no legal status. Tarek was sent to the illegal immigration detention center. He’s mother come here and know that, she and Walter have a common goal, they are became good friend.

Culture shock.

I have many culture shock. These are some culture shock from my visit new country. When i arrived LA airport, i needed taxi. While i was looking around, someone came to me and ask. " i think this time is your first time, you need my help". So, that time i think this man is bad guy. Because in our country, somebody whom i donot know contact me i have to call the police or runaway. Because almost man has bad mind. But now, i know American is very kindly. And i have another culture shock. the one thing is make bank account and use check book. Here, sometimes i need check book. Buy one car, rent house and the other many things.. in our country, i never use checkbook, because i didnot need that. I was young. In Korea that is only old person and businessman. And food, weather, finding friends and different language. i had so many culture shock. So i cannot write my all experience.

What is American culture and Amrican?

American culture is very interesting. When i arrived here, my feeling is very strange. That is different from our country. In America best important thing is appointment. These people never lose their appointment. And not fast. our country persons are everyday says fast. Because our country is small. But America is not small, very big country. If someone has paln to come here, he need skills to make friend. Every friends might help you. American is very kind. When i asked anybody, they told me something kindly.

who am i.

I am an international student from South Korea.
My name is Sung-soon Kim. Kim is my family name. I dont have english name specially.
My freinds call me Kim. Actually, i have english name which is Edward. But i dont like new name so i told everyone my name is Kim. My age is 22. I like America. In my country, my age is 24. But here, my age is 22, for reason i like America. I have a girl-friend who is different country. I love her. I want together everytime and everyseconds. But, now i am just student. If i had job and graduated my all study course, i might propose for marry. we are many problems from different culture. Sometimes i can understand, but the other times i cannot understand. When we could not communication easily, every that time i thought i need study too hard. But now,we are growing up our mind. It's my own little life. I have one old brother. He is studying in England now. And I have father and mother, my father is business man and mother is a teacher. My major is business management. When i was high-school student, my grade is too low. So, i decided came here. My first impression is very strange. Many person speak English and another languages. I couldnot understand anything else. But now, i can understand almost thing. But i need more understanding for my graduate.
